ROOT-ZONE DECISION WORKBENCH
Test the irrigation decision before the field trial.
Choose a crop, soil, weather and treatment. The state engine compares modelled root-zone moisture trajectories and explains the recommended action.

Root-zone moisture: treatment comparison
14-day simulated trajectoryControlHydrogelBiocharHydrogel + biochar
Why partial irrigation?
The control trajectory reaches the caution zone first. Hydrogel creates a finite root-zone water buffer, so the system proposes a smaller timed cycle rather than a full fixed schedule.
Model assumptions
Hydrogel stores only part of the base irrigation pulse and releases it when moisture falls. Biochar modifies water-loss behaviour; it is not treated as the same material. Results require calibration against controlled plots.
